If you will be closed on a day you are usually open and/or if you no longer want to take online bookings for a certain date, depending on the need, there are two ways you can stop accepting online bookings:
Opening hours - if you want all offerings to be unavailable i.e. Venue Closed
Unavailable dates - if you want individual offerings to be unavailable i.e. Stop bookings for a certain package or treatment
Opening hours
If you would like to prevent bookings for a certain date for ALL of your offerings i.e. Closed for Christmas Day etc, head to Settings > Site > Opening hours.
Scroll to Exceptions > Add new exception > select the date > Close all day > Create exception.
When the exception has been created this means that this date will not be available for any bookings across all of your offerings.
Unavailable dates
If there's a specific treatment or package that you need to stop online sales for, you can use Unavailable Dates to stop bookings on a specific date for a certain offering.
To add any unavailable dates go to Settings > Site > Unavailable dates.
Here you will be able to select certain Appointments, Packages and Area Bookings and mark certain dates as unavailable online.
[This allows you to make certain dates unavailable for bookings. This is not setting availability rules for your appointments/ packages, that is done in individual settings.]
To mark any unavailable dates, select the type of offering then select the Appointment/ Package/ Area booking you want to mark with an unavailable date.
To find the date, you can move between the arrows to change the months of the calendar. You can press 'Go to today' to immediately revert back to the month you are in. When you have found the day you want to make unavailable, select the 'x' and that day should turn from green to red. You can select/ unselect dates as unavailable and the calendar will change accordingly. (See video)
Once your unavailable dates have been selected for a certain offering, when a customer tries to book this on your storefront, these dates will be greyed out as they are unavailable. (See screenshot)
