Struggling to book an appointment/ package/ session/ area booking?
When trying to book you see the warning: 'Oh no! We couldn't find any slots. Try changing the date.' But you've checked the calendar and there are free slots for that date you want to book?
Well, this could mean that there is something in the availability settings that are preventing you from making this booking!
For all offerings first make sure your Opening hours and Unavailable dates are not affecting the availability of the booking.
To do this head to Settings > Opening hours > Exceptions > make sure there isn't an exception made for the date you are trying to book.
For any unavailable dates head to Settings > Unavailable dates > select the specific offering and check that date isn't set as unavailable. If you have checked both opening hours and unavailable dates and these settings aren't preventing the offering from being booked, select the next step! Here you will be given checklists for appointment/ session/ area booking/ packages to show you what you should be checking for each type of offering.
Appointment types availability checklist
Once you have made sure the opening hour exceptions and unavailable dates are not preventing the booking you will have to check the appointment's availability settings.
By doing this you will be able to discover which part of the availability settings are preventing you from booking this appointment and change them accordingly :)
To do this head to Settings > Appointment types > edit specific appointment > scroll to availability > check the availability that you have setup.
Tick off the parts of the checklist as you check each element. Make sure each element is not preventing the booking, if it is you can edit the availability to enable the booking.
Availability rules (check the dates/times you have set)
Earliest/ latest booking
Practitioners (at least one practitioner must be ticked)
Rooms (at least one room must be ticked)
Offered online (only relevant if trying to book online)
Members only (the appointment will only be available to members)
Availability of the practitioners who can take these appointments
Availability of the rooms this appointment can take place in
Practitioner restrictions (how many of this appointment type a practitioner can carry out)
Session types availability checklist
Once you have made sure the opening hour exceptions are not preventing the booking you will have to check the session's availability settings.
By doing this you will be able to discover which part of the availability settings are preventing you from booking this session and change them accordingly :)
