How to create a Couples package?
Do you want to set up a package for couples so that all the choices will be booked in at the same time for both guests? Well, you can do this by toggling on the 'Couples package' option on the package settings. This will mean that this package will require two guests!
To do this head to Settings > Packages > select a package/ create a new package > scroll to 'Guests' section and toggle on 'Couples'.

If you want to add any treatments to your package choice when setting up a 'Couples package', you can select an appointment type with 'couples' toggled on or toggled off and these will have different outcomes...
If you select an appointment type that has 'couples' toggle on. This will mean that when the package is booked, it will book the couple with two practitioners. To see how to set up 'Couples appointments' press here!
If the appointment type you add as a choice is not a 'couples' appointment then when the choice is selected it will duplicate the choice as it is for 2 guests.
Area bookings/ sessions/ products within couples packages:
If you have area bookings/ sessions/ products as a choice within a 'Couples package' then when booked it will automatically add the area booking/ session/ product twice for 2 guests if 'couples' is toggled on!

Booking a Couples Package in Trybe
When booking a couples package within Trybe via the orders page, if you select a package that has 'couples' toggled on then on the 'choose guests' section, you will have to enter in and select 2 guests before you can proceed...
For example, if adding via the new order page, you can enter in the client details > add package > select the 'couples' package > add guest > enter in the second guest > tick both guests > then you will be able to proceed to the 'choose date' step then the 'choose options' step...
Whatever timings you choose for the choices will automatically be selected for both of the guests. Once you have added the package to the order, you will see that any sessions/ area booking types/ products will be added twice so there is one for each guest! The appointment type is a couples appointment so will show once on the order but have two practitioners assigned for each guest...
Booking a Couples Package online
When a customer is booking a couples package via the shop front, the number of guests is automatically set to '2' and this cannot be changed as it is a package for two.
When the customer selects the date, it will automatically tick 'Me' and they will then be prompted to enter in the second guest's name, they can then proceed to configuring the package. Two guests are required in order to book the package. Please see gif to view the process of booking a couples package via the shop front :)
