From an order, you can manually send different emails by going to the Messages tab. Here are the different types of emails that can be sent:

Summary email

By clicking on Summary > Send email, this will send a payment summary email to the client including VAT:

You can click on Preview email if you want to double-check what will be sent to the client before sending it.

Confirmation email

By clicking on Confirmation > Send email, this will send a resume of what has been booked in the order including the payment type:

You can click on Preview email if you want to double-check what will be sent to the client before sending it.

Please note that confirmation emails are automatically sent for online orders. However, if this is a manual order (internal), the email won’t be sent automatically and will need to be sent manually as shown above.

Reminder email

If the reminder email option is toggled on for your site and you have an email template set up for it, the Reminder option will appear through the Messages tab in the order. By clicking on Reminder > Send email, you can manually send a reminder email to your client:

You can click on Preview email if you want to double-check what will be sent to the client before sending it.

Please note that reminder emails are sent automatically according to your reminder email settings, but you need to ensure the order is created before the reminder is due to be sent, otherwise the reminder email won’t be sent.

💡 However, if you want to send a reminder manually, you can now do so using the Reminder button.

Follow Up email

If the follow up email option is toggled on for your site, you have an email template set up for it, and the order is checked out, the Follow Up option will appear in the Messages tab of the order. By clicking on Follow Up > Send email, you can manually send a follow up email to your client:

You can click on Preview email if you want to double-check what will be sent to the client before sending it.

Please note that follow-up emails are sent automatically according to your follow-up email settings, but you need to ensure the order is checked out before the follow-up is due to be sent, otherwise the follow-up email won’t be sent.

💡 If the order wasn’t checked out on time and therefore no follow-up was sent to your customer, or if you wish to send another follow-up because your client missed the first one, you can now do so manually using the Follow Up button.
