How to allow multiple options to be selected for a package choice?
Do you want a specific choice within a package to have multiple option that the guest can choose? Well you can enable this by toggling on 'Allow multiple options'.
To find this feature head to Settings > Packages > select a package > Package choices > select 'More options' on the choice you want to enable this for > toggle on 'Allow multiple options'.
Once toggled on this will mean that with this choice the guest can choose more than one option.
When you enable 'Allow multiple options' a box will appear called 'Total budget', this is where you can set the restriction on what and how many can be booked based on the budget that is included within the package price. All options will be added using their non-package price. If the budget is exceeded, the excess will be added to the price of the package. For example, if you select a £100 budget here, the guest will be able to add options worth up to £100 (which is included in the package price), if they exceed £100 they will have to then pay for the excess.
Remember to select 'Save' on the choice to save these changes.
How does this work when adding the package in the app?
When adding a package that has multiple options enabled with a budget this is what it will look like in the app! In this example you can see that customers have a budget of €240 as it states '€240.00 budget with €240.00 remaining'.
Once you start to select choices from the package you will see that the total remaining will decrease and you can select as many choices as you want.
As you can see from the gif and screenshots if you exceed the budget it then shows how much will be added to the package price.
Please note: The whole budget does not need to be used. You can also exceed the budget and if this happens, the money will be added onto the package price.
How does this work when adding the package on the shop?
When adding a package that has multiple options enabled with a budget this is what it will look like on the shop front! In this example you can see that customers have a budget of €240 as it states 'You've got €240.00 left in your included budget'.
You will see that as you go through and select the choices, the budget will update as to how much is left.
As you can see from the gif and screenshots if you exceed the budget it then shows how much will be added to the package price too. For example, it states 'You've spent €10.00 more than your included budget.' Therefore, when the package has been added to the basket you can see the amount that has been.
Please note: The whole budget does not need to be used. You can also exceed the budget and if this happens, the money will be added onto the package price.
