This guide will give you a summary of some frequently asked questions regarding Stripe, in case you are using your own Stripe account with Trybe.

When will Stripe payments be paid into our bank account?

Stripe payments are paid out to your bank account 7 days from the date the payment was taken. Therefore, the first payout will be about 7 days after you went live and then from there it should continue daily as it's always 7 days from the payment date.

All Payout's are sent directly from Stripe and when locating these in Stripe you should be able to see the Trybe booking reference against each payment should you need to look into the Order for that Payment.

In Trybe, you can view a break down of all Payments taken through Trybe and narrow this down to Stripe Payments within your Reports > Transactions.

What are the Stripe transaction fees?

Stripe deducts the fees from your Payments before issuing the Payout.

How do refunds work through Stripe?

You can issue either partial or full refunds. There are no fees to refund a charge, but the fees from the original charge are not returned.

How to search for transactions on the stripe dashboard?

If you want to check any transactions (payments/ refunds etc) you can do this on the stripe dashboard.

To access the dashboard head to Settings > Billing > Visit Stripe Dashboard.

You will then have to login to your Stripe account.

Once you have logged in, you can search for any transactions using the search bar.

You can search for a transaction by email address, first and last name or the last 4 digits of the card that was used for the transaction. Enter this information into the Search bar.

You will then be able to see the transactions listed for this specific email address/ customer name/ card.

Does Stripe require 3D secure on all payments?

Pay by links will always go through 3d secure which will avoid disputes ONLY if configured to do so in your Stripe account.

We recommend to enable 3D secure on your Stripe account when it's supported by the payment method. This can be amended under the "Authentication rules" in your Stripe account.

Our recommended block rules are to block payments if the risk level is high, the CVC fails or the payment matches one of the stripe managed block list rules.

Clients can optionally enforce a postcode check for maximum security.

Google Pay & Apple Pay

Trybe support Google pay and Apple pay on the shop and Pay by link!

Apple Pay is only supported on Apple devices (Mac, iPhones and iPads)

Our payment flow knows which device you’re using and presents the button depending on which platform you’re on! It's as easy as that!
