What are Pre-sale membership and how to set them up?
Are you getting ready to launch a new Membership and want to start getting members signed up and ready to go?
Well, with Pre-Sale you can schedule the start date of a membership so customers can sign up ahead of the membership starting!
Head to Settings > Membership types > scroll to the 'Pre-sale' section > toggle on 'Enable'.
Once enabled a 'Start date' box will then appear > if you select this you can then choose the date of the membership from the drop down calendar. Once selected remember to select 'Save pre-sale'. Any memberships created for this type will have a start date of the date you choose.
This will then mean that when a customer signs for this specific membership online the summary will state that the membership starts on the date you selected and on their client profile the membership will be in an 'Upcoming' status until the membership begins.
Please note if someone signs up to a 'pre-sale' membership after the 'pre-sale' date set has passed then the membership will have a start date of the day the customer signs up.
To keep track of any 'Upcoming' memberships you can head to Clients > Memberships > use the 'status' filter to filter by 'Upcoming'. This will then show you all 'Upcoming' memberships.
