Do you want to create a membership that will continue indefinitely and have no end date? You can do this using the default duration feature!

Simply head over to Settings > Membership Types > select on the membership to edit. Scroll to the 'Rates' section, here you can edit an existing rate by selecting three dots > Edit. Or you can create a new rate 'Add new rate'. On the pop up you will find an option to set the 'Default duration'.

Please note that the 'Default duration' field will only be visible if the 'Public' toggle in ON.

Here you can choose from the following durations:

  • No end date

  • 3 months

  • 6 months

  • 1 year

Setting this to 'No end date' will mean this membership will constantly renew as there is no end date for this membership.

Therefore, when a customer signs up for a membership online and the rate is set to a 'No end date' default duration then the membership will be continue indefinitely and will never expire. To stop payments you would need to set an end date and/or cancel the membership.
