SpaSeekers Integration

Written by Emily O'Shea

Do you use SpaSeekers to promote your Spa?

You can connect your Trybe account to SpaSeekers so that when you receive a booking made via SpaSeekers this will instantly drop into Trybe.

If you are interested in integrating with SpaSeekers, please contact us at [email protected], and we will reach out to SpaSeekers to initiate the setup from their end for you. If you have already been in contact with SpaSeekers, they will reach out to us to complete the necessary actions.

Once SpaSeekers have completed their part, the next step will be to configure the settings in Trybe to enable the offerings you want customers to purchase via SpaSeekers, along with any availability rules.

How to enable the packages you want customers to purchase through SpaSeekers?

To do this, head to Settings > Integrations > OTA Availability:

Please note: SpaSeekers only supports Packages.

From the Allowed offerings section, you’ll first want to enable the packages that can be sold via SpaSeekers. Simply navigate through the Packages tab and select the toggle next to each package you wish to enable to turn it blue. Once you have enabled all the packages you want to integrate with SpaSeekers, make sure to click Save.

You can use the same offering types; however, if you want to update or change certain elements of a package specifically for bookings made via SpaSeekers, such as price or date availability, you’ll need to copy the package to create a new version and rename it by adding 'SpaSeekers' in the title so it’s clear which package is for SpaSeekers and which isn’t. To copy a package, go to Settings > Offerings > Packages, then click on the three dots next to the package you wish to copy and select Copy.

Next, because these Orders will be made via an OTA, there may be some restrictions you wish to make to what can be booked, when and how many.

To do this, scroll down to the Availability rules section > and select 'Add new rule'.

For each rule, you will need to define a Date range, then select the weekdays within this date range that should be available to book. Once you've select your dates, there's three Availability options to choose from - you MUST set up one of these rules for the integration to work:

  • Unlimited - this means that as long as there's availability for the offering as set up in your Trybe settings, then customers can book until you're fully booked.

  • No Bookings - if you need to block off a particular date or week you can use this to stop any bookings being accepted via the OTA.

  • Maximum Daily Guests - you can use this to set a cap of how many orders you want to be made via the OTA. Please note, you only need to use this if it is lower than what your availability rules in your Trybe settings would allow. If you set this higher, bookings will cap at your maximum availability on that day.

Once you have chosen your rule > select Create. Your availability rule for the integration has now been created.

A few points to check to ensure your packages are available on SpaSeekers

1. Check the package visibility

Packages created for SpaSeekers must have their visibility set to “By link only”. This keeps them hidden from your Shop while still allowing them to be visible and bookable through OTAs such as SpaSeekers.

2. Check the package pricing rules

Please note that a pricing rule must be set up for the package to work with the SpaSeekers integration. If only a Standard price is set up and no pricing rule is configured, the package will not appear on SpaSeekers.

3. Check the OTA availability settings

Make sure that your package is toggled on in the Allowed Offerings section of the OTA Availability page. You should also make sure that the Availability Rule has been fully configured. If the package is not enabled in the Allowed Offerings section or the Availability Rule has not been completed, the package will not show as available on SpaSeekers.
