When you create an order in Trybe and add items to the order, if the items have an offering rate set up then this % will automatically be added as service charge for this item. However, if there is no service charge rate set up for that particular offering then the default percentage you set up will be used instead.
See in example screenshot, I have added the 'Aromatherapy Massage' and a 'Hot Stones Massage' to the order, the service charge total is £4.00.
If you select on the 'Service charge' option a pop up will appear and this will give you a breakdown of the service charge and also allow you to change the service charge amount too if needed.
As you can see in the screenshot below, on the 'Add to items' section, it shows that 'Aromatherapy Massage' had a service charge of £3.00 and the 'Hot Stones Massage' had the service charge of £1. If you want to change the amount for an item you can select 'Custom' and enter in an amount or you can select the pre-set choices of 5%, 10%,15% or 20% > 'Update' to update any changes you have made.
If you want to give a service charge for the overall order instead rather than individual items then you can select the 'Add to order' option on the service charge pop up (see screenshot below).
If you want to change the amount for the whole order you can select 'Custom' and enter in an amount or you can select the pre-set choices of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. 'Update' to update any changes you have made.
To find revenue for service charge in reports, head to Reports > Sales > and either go to Revenue Allocations Summary or Revenue Allocations breakdown. You can also see the service charge applied by items when exporting the Sold items report.
