If your team are using the Service Charge feature to capture and record Service Charge (see guide) we have a handy report for you to then track service charge across your Orders.
To access your service charge items report, head to Reports > Sales > Service charge items
This report will lists your items sold in all submitted orders matching the provided filters, along with any service charge allocated to those items.
You can change the date range by selecting on the default date that is shown and select a new date from the drop down calendar.
It will list:
Item date : date of the booking
Order ref
Item
Item type
Sold by
Practitioner
Line total : price of each line item within an order
Service charge: service charge per line item within an order
Note that orders containing only products have a revenue date of when they are checked out, so those orders will not appear in this report until they are checked out.
If you would like you can also filter the report by selecting 'Add filter'. A pop up will then appear where you can toggle on the following filters:
Offering type - to filter by this toggle 'Offering type' on. Then select the offering type from the drop down menu. Choose from appointment/ area booking/ package/ product/ session. Keep selecting the 'Offering type' filter to tick/ untick other offering types too.
Offerings - to filter by this toggle 'Offerings' on. Then select the offerings from the drop down menu. Keep selecting the 'Offerings' filter to tick/ untick other offerings too. You should toggle this on after toggling on the specific 'Offering type' filter, to further filter down your search.
Sold by - to filter by this toggle 'Sold by' on. Then select the practitioner/ user from the drop down menu. Keep selecting the 'Sold by' filter to tick/untick other practitioners/ users too.
Practitioners - to filter by this toggle 'Practitioners' on. Then select the practitioner from the drop down menu.
Received date - to filter by this toggle 'Received date' on. This is the date the Order was created. You can choose a range between 1 day / 1 week / 1 month etc.
Labels - to filter by Order labels toggle 'Labels' on. Then select the labels from the drop down menu. This will then show you orders within the date range with this Order label. Keep selecting the 'Labels' filter to tick/ untick other offerings too.
Item date - to filter by this toggle 'item date' on. Item dates are the dates individual items on an Order have been booked for. You can choose a range between 1 day / 1 week / 1 month etc.
To remove the filters select 'X' next to the filter.
If you want further information you can export this report by selecting the 'Export' button. Here you can save/ print if needed.
In this export you will find additional information such as:
Revenue date: day of the booking
Added date: when the order has been taken
Order status: Submitted or settled (checked out)
Total cost : Price of each line item
Package allocation : revenue allocation to each Choice within a Package
Note that, for packages, the report will only show you the overall package price. When exporting, the column 'Package allocation' will allow you to see a breakdown of the revenue allocation for each item within a package as well as the service charge attached to this allocation.
