GuestStay integration

Do you have Guestline as your PMS? Then you can enable the GuestStay integration, within Guestline, that allows your guests to seamlessly book selected spa offerings upon selecting a stay at your property!


You will be able to provide your customers with the ability to book a Spa Appointment and Session in addition to the Hotel Package.

Setting the GuestStay integration

To begin the set up firstly you will want to get in touch with your Guestline account manager - they will reach out to Trybe and ask for some details.

Once the details are provided, you will need to:

  1. Create a sales channel in Trybe called "GuestStay": this will allow you to track bookings coming from the GuestStay integration. This could be useful if you are tracking the revenue by Sales Channel (more info on the report here)

  2. Create the various offerings you wish to connect by enabling them in the OTA availability area (on Trybe: Settings > Integrations > OTA Availability). You can connect a mix of appointment types and sessions. Once selected, don't forget to press "Save".

3. Availability rules: so that your guests can choose the offerings, don't forget to add the availability rules. Click "Add new rule" and select:

- the period of time (tip: we recommend leaving the date range with no ending date, so you ensure continuity)
- the weekdays the guests can choose the offerings
- the rule: choose between "unlimited bookings" within the therapists' and rooms' availability, and "Maximum daily guests" so that you set a limit to how many guests can book through the GuestStay integration each day.

If you are limiting the possibility of booking for a certain period of time (e.g. during high season), you can add a second availability rule and select the "No bookings" option - limit it by the date range, and the offerings won't be bookable for that period of time!

The offerings you have selected on Trybe will reflect on GuestStay through the OTA settings you have configured above.

The integration is now complete! When you guests book a stay, upon confirming it, they will be displayed the below page:

Under the Spa tab, on the left hand-side panel, they will be displayed all the offerings you have connected on Trybe, along with the availability:

The guests will be able to book however many treatments (complementary or chargeable) they'd like, to take place during their reservation days.

Should the treatments be charged, you will be able to take the payment once the booking lands in Trybe.

When the booking lands in Trybe, if you have created the "GuestStay" sales channel, you will be able to see it in the relevant field:

The guest will then need to settle the bill either via a payment method or through the room charge.


If charging to room, remember to charge on the day the booking is taking place to avoid any revenue discrepancies!

Cancelling a booking

If the guest would like to cancel the booking, they have a few options:

  • if they'd like to cancel the spa reservation only, they can do so by calling your property and you will be able to cancel the order on Trybe:

  • Alternatively, the guest can cancel the hotel reservation on the Guestline reservation portal; this will only cancel the room. You will need to manually cancel their Spa booking on Trybe!
