We’re excited to introduce our new integration with Infor! This Infor integration will allow you to automatically post your spa payment and revenue to Infor in real time. Also, charge spa treatments to guest folios so they can pay when checking out of the Hotel.
To access the integration, head to Settings > Integrations > Manage integrations > Infor.
Credentials
To get started, please contact your Infor sales representative and provide them with the SKU listed on this page:
Once this is transferred, Infor will enable the integration on their end and will transfer the following credentials:
API URL
User ID
Password
Once this is entered, select "Save" and "Enable Integration":
Mapping Configuration
Once this is enabled, you will see the revenue centres & payment types you have created in your Site Settings.
Starting with your revenue centres, the following information will be required:
Outlet
Bucket
Tax Bucket
Once this is completed, you will need to fill out your Trybe Payment Types with Infor Payment IDs:
Infor also allows you to charge spa treatments to guest folios so they can pay when checking out of the Hotel. For this make sure to define an Outlet ID to use when charging a room.
Once all mappings are complete, save the page, and your integration will be ready to use.
How will it work?
When the integration is working, there’s two jobs it will run:
Posting Payments - Payments can be posted on the date the payment is made or on the revenue date, the behaviour you want needs to be set up when creating the Payment Types - see guide on Payment Kind rules.
Posting Revenue - Revenue is posted as soon as a user ‘Checked Out’ an Order. See this guide on the Check in and Check Out process for your Operational team. The revenue can only be posted to Infor to the date it was checked out.
Therefore, if a user forgets to check out the order on the day the order took place and checks it out two days later the revenue will post to the date it is now being checked out, i.e. 2 days later than the Order happened. If this happens, the revenue will need to be moved in Infor manually. You can use your Daily Revenue report to check that all Orders have been posted to Opera in the ‘Posted to PMS’ section - see guide.
