Set-up your integration

Do you use Mews PMS to manage your Hotel Bookings? If so, you integrate with our Overnight Booking Engine for your Spa Break bookings.

To activate the Overnight Booking Engine, the first step is to contact our support team and request for the feature. Once this has been activated for you, you'll be able to configure the integration by heading to Settings > Manage Integration > Mews, and scroll down to the Overnights section.

In this section, you'll need to enter the Bookable Service ID, which can be found within your Mews system. You’ll also need to set the Age Category to Adults. Please note that this category might have a different label in your Mews account, but it must correspond to adults.

Once these fields are completed, select Re-Import Hotel Rooms. This will sync your available room types directly from your Mews PMS and make them available for overnight bookings.

Create your overnight packages

Now that the setup is complete in your integration section, you can begin creating your overnight packages.

Within your Package Type Settings, you’ll now see an 'Overnight package' section. If the package you’re creating includes an overnight stay, this option must be enabled.

Once enabled, you’ll need to select a corresponding Mews rate and define the number of nights included in the package. Please note that the number of nights is fixed per package and cannot be changed dynamically.

In your pricing section, you will also find a 'Booking Engine' option. If you enable it, the minimum price for each date will be displayed on the calendar on your booking engine underneath each date.

Activating the overnight option will automatically add a Choice 1, labelled 'Hotel Room', to your package. This will be the room selection displayed on the shopfront.

All spa-related options can then be added as additional choices after the room selection, as you would normally do for your packages.

The room choice will always appear as Choice 1, and its position cannot be moved.

The price rule set in Trybe will only apply to the spa choices of the package.

By default, the revenue allocation for the packages will be assigned to the 'Room' revenue centre. However, if you need the spa choices to be directed to a different revenue centre, you can configure the revenue allocation for each choice as usual.

Booking the overnight package online

When a guest selects an overnight package online, the number of nights included will be displayed in the package description.

After choosing their preferred dates, the first step in the booking flow will be to select a room. Room details—such as descriptions, images, and capacity—are automatically pulled from your PMS.

Once a room is selected, guests can then choose from the available spa options, which can be booked across the duration of their stay.

Example: The Thermal Access can be booked for the 21st and the treatment can be booked for the 22nd.
