Email deliverability

Have you set up to use your own "Email from address" and experiencing deliverability issues when sending emails?

Email deliverability is affected by lots of different things including...

  • your own domain settings (which might be set to only allow emails to be trusted if they're sent from certain places)

  • the reputation of the 'from' address - it might have been used to send lots of spam type emails in the past

  • the contents of the email

  • what the recipient's email provider chooses to do

Therefore, any of these reasons could be impacting why you are having deliverability issues when using your own email from address. If you would still like to use your own custom email rather than the Trybe one ([email protected]) then there are some technical changes to your domain that can be made which should create a higher likelihood of it being trusted (but there can still be things out of our control).

In the interim or as an alternative solution, we would recommend not using a custom email and revert back to the default of '[email protected]' by leaving the "Email from address" section blank in the Email Branding settings.
