Would you like to change the email address from which all Trybe emails are sent? You can do so when creating your email branding by using the Email from Address option!
This is an easy process which will only require a verification of the email address. To enter the sender’s email address, head to Settings > Marketing & comms > Email branding > enter the email address in the first section > select Save Changes.
Once you have entered in the "email from address" and scrolled to the bottom of the page and selected "save changes", you will see a red light under the email with “Not verified” written...
You will also see "Show DNS records" option appear alongside the "Not verified". The email will only be verified once you set up the DNS record. When you select on "Show DNS records", it will provide you with details specific to your site...
You'll need to add these DNS records to your domain for Trybe to be trusted to send emails on your behalf. If you're unsure, your IT team will know what to do so reach out to your IT team for help if needed.
Once the above has been actioned and the email is marked as "verified", your email will now display a green light under it with “Verified” written. This will then automatically change the sender’s email for ALL types of emails sent from Trybe.
This allows for Trybe emails to be sent to an email address other than a no-reply one. It will then open up the opportunity for clients to send requests or information back to the site if needed.
Once this has been set up, to ensure better deliverability with a custom email address, you can also ask your IT team to update the SPF Record for your web domain so that amazonses.com is listed as a trusted sender for emails from that domain.
