Want to make changes/ edits to a recurring credit on a particular membership?

If so you can do this by heading to the Settings > Membership types > select the membership type > scroll to recurring credits. Here you can select on the credit and you will be able to make any changes!

Please note that depending on which part of the recurring credits settings you are editing, some will update existing credits and other settings won't. Whether or not the edits/ changes will update existing credits is explained on the settings page (I have highlighted where this is mentioned in the screenshots) and will also outline this below.)

  • Credit details - If editing the name or description, note that these changes will not be updated for credits that have already been issued

  • Credit issuing - If you toggle on/ off either the 'Multi-use' or 'Issued on signup' please note that this will not affect credits that have already been issued to clients. I.e. if a credits has 'multi-use' toggled on and then you toggle off

  • Offerings - Any changes you make in this section will update and apply to existing credits. For example, if you edit the credit to now include more offerings, this will mean this offering will now be an applicable offering for those credits that have already been issued to clients. The only exception will be if you are changing the amount of a monetary credit, this will not update existing credits

Remember that after making any changes to the credit, you will need to select 'Save' to save the changes made, depending on what changes were made this will update existing credits or the credit will remain the same and then when the credit is next issued the updated settings will apply.

Please view the 'Recurring credits' guide for more info on how to set up credits.

If you would like the credit to be issued before the next billing date you can do this manually. Please see the link below for steps on how to issue edited credits now.
