How to create a practitioner

To be able to take any bookings, one of the most important parts of the set up is the Practitioners.

To create practitioners, go to Settings > Resources > Practitioners > Add Practitioner > write in name > Add.

The order that the practitioners are listed is the order that the practitioners are added to the system. The order of the practitioners here, will also be the same order that they are displayed on the Calendar (when they have a shift) and on the Rota. If you would like to change the order select the 'Reorder practitioners' button, from here you can then move the practitioners around. Select 'Save' to save all changes.

If you select the three dots next to the practitioner you can 'Edit', 'Copy' or 'Delete'.

You can select 'Edit' to edit this practitioners profile. You can add a name and an optional profile picture. You can use the name of the practitioner, or if you prefer you could name all practitioners Therapist 1, Therapist 2 etc. and assign them to a practitioner each day. If you upload a picture this will be visible in the calendar. If you leave this blank Trybe will use the initials of the practitioner in place of the picture on the calendar.

Here you will also be able to assign the practitioner to a 'Zone', simply select a zone from the drop down menu. Please view the guide on Zones for more info!

To save any edits made press 'Save' or you can remove a practitioner by selecting 'Delete'.

Before you delete a practitioner they must have no future appointments or sessions. You can view upcoming appointments by selecting the 'Upcoming appointments' tab.

Practitioner Restrictions

You are able to add restrictions to your practitioners. To do this head to Settings > Practitioners > edit (specific practitioner) > scroll down to Appointment restrictions > Add new appointment restriction.

There are 2 types of restrictions that you can place on a Practitioner:

  1. 'Cannot Offer' - the practitioner is not allowed to practice this type of treatment

  2. 'Maximum Duration' - the practitioner is only permitted to carry out the treatment a certain amount of time per day (The mins you select here does NOT include the cleaning times of the appointments)

When adding these restrictions you can select both a 'Date range' if needed. Use these dates to set a date range for this restriction. You can select either or you can leave both blank if you want this restriction to apply to the practitioner for all dates.

You can apply as many restrictions as required for Specific Appointment Types or Certain Categories.

Remember to press 'Create' when all restrictions have been added.

You can come back in to edit / remove these at any time.
