Why can I not move a treatment to a Practitioner even though they are available?

If you want to move a treatment to a different Practitioner who is available but you are unable to and this error message appears... 'The provided practitioner_ids.0 is invalid.' (See screenshot) then there are a few things in your system that you'll need to check.

Here is what you need to check!

  • Check that the practitioner you're intending to move the appointment to is set up as being able to take this treatment in your Settings. To do this head to Settings > Appointment types > edit > scroll to Practitioners. (Image 2) Here you can check if this practitioner is ticked. If the practitioner is not ticked they will not be able to take this appointment. If you make any changes to who can take this appointment make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Save'.

  • Check if the Practitioner has any restrictions! To do this head to Settings > Practitioners > edit > scroll to Appointment restrictions. (Image 3) Here you will be able to see if there are any restrictions. The restrictions could result in the practitioner not being able to take the appointment. For example, they might not be able to take any massages at all or there might be a maximum duration set for how many minutes of massages they can take per day.
