Trybe allows your customers to split payments over the different payment methods that you have set up in Trybe. For example, if a customer wants to pay part-card and part-cash, this can easily be done at the payment stage.
To do this, you'll need to head to the customer's order after you have confirmed it, select the 'Pay £X' button on the bottom left hand side of the order.
What different payment methods are there?
From the order page, the amount due can be split between any payment methods that you have set up in Payment type settings (See how to set these up here)
The image shows that that £90.00 is due and the payment methods visible are the default payment methods on Trybe (Card reader, Card on file, Charge to room, Gift Voucher, Pay by Link).
There is also the option for 'Other', you'll need to click this option if you want to manually split payment amounts to certain payment methods.
Splitting payments though "other" payment button
After clicking 'Other', the payment methods that you have created in your payment methods settings will appear. From here you can customise the amount by typing in your new amount and then clicking your preferred payment method. (Note: the amount cannot exceed the original price).
After customising the amount and going through payment, you can then view how much has been paid for and how much is outstanding. From here you can continue to choose different payment methods until the outstanding balance is zero.
View completed payment
Once the customer is done paying, you can then view the payment; when it was paid for, how much was paid and the payment methods used.
To do this you'll need to go to the order and click on the payment tab.
