Browser’s cache essentially helps pages load faster, making it easier for you to browse the web. These can, however, affect the running of Trybe sometimes.

Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies means that some website settings (like usernames and passwords) will be deleted and some sites might appear to be a little slower because all of the images have to be loaded again.

Here are the steps to clear cache on the most commonly used browsers:

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. From the top right, click on the three vertical dots

  3. Click on Delete browsing data

  4. Select the required time range - for everything select All Time.

  5. Check the boxes next to Cookies and Other Site Data and Cached Images and Files.

  6. Finally, click Clear Data.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Select the Settings and More menu (the three ellipses in the top right).

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select the Privacy, search & services

  5. Scroll down to Clear Browsing Data and Choose What to Clear button.

  6. Check the boxes next to Cookies and Saved Website Data and Cached Data and Files.

  7. Finally, click Clear.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox on your computer.

  2. In the upper right-hand corner of the browser, click the “menu bars,” which look like three parallel lines, and click the “Privacy” tab.

  3. Here you can select “Clear your recent history.”

  4. Be sure that only “Cookies” is checked, and then select the time frame for which you would like to delete your cookies. If you want to delete all cookies, select “Everything.”

  5. Double check your selections to make sure that other items you want to keep are not selected, and then hit “Clear now.”
