How to connect your memberships to Membership email template?
Would you like to send personalised emails for your different memberships? With our new membership welcome email template option, you will be able to send automated emails to your members, containing all the information each of the memberships needs to be aware of!
To do so, you will need to head to Settings > Marketing & comms > Email Templates > Create a New Template > Enter Template name > Select the email type “Membership Welcome”.
To configure this template, press the three dots > edit. The configuration is broken down into three sections:
Details
Email type - choose the type of email this is from the drop-down list
Priority - if several templates apply to an email, the templates will be added in order of priority. Choose a number from the drop-down menu, the lowest number will appear first on the email. You can leave this section blank if not applicable
Membership types
In this section, you will be able to connect Permitted Membership to which the template will apply. If all memberships are linked to this template, you can leave this section blank. If you want to select certain memberships, select in the drop-down menu, the ones you would like to connect. You can link as many memberships as you would like. If you want to delete a membership from the selection, just select the cross.
Always remember to select Save Details after adding or editing information.
Messages
Here you can write in the message that you want to be displayed on this email template. This means you can tailor the wording of the message for the permitted memberships that you have linked to this template.
When you edit any part of the email templates, make sure you select 'Save details' so this will save any changes made to the email template.
