How do I link a members card to their profile?
Do your members have a membership card that they can scan or swipe at reception and/or via a Gantner Gate to sign in?
If so, you'll need to associate the bar code/magnetic stripe on the membership card with the Members profile so Trybe can determined which member has signed in.
This is really simple to do and will take just a few seconds to set up per Member. To do this head to the Clients tab > select the client > settings > Manage Passes.
Default pass:
Here you will see that there is a default QR code for the client. If you select the three dots next to the QR code you will be able to print/ download the QR code. You can then send the QR code to the Client so they can have access to this.
Custom associated passes/magnetic stripe:
If you have an existing barcode/magnetic stripe for this client, such as a physical membership card, you can associate it with this client. To do this select the 'Associate new pass' button. Then you can use your scanner or Magstripe reader to associate card with the Client. Please note Trybe will only pick up barcodes that have a payload of 5 characters or more.
Once you have sent out the QR code to the client or associated a barcode/magnetic stripe (on their physical membership card for example), when they come into the spa they will be able to scan or swipe their card using a scanner, Magstripe reader or Gantner gate and their profile will then pop up in the corner of the screen in Trybe and check them in! On the pop up you will be able to see their:
Picture
Name
Email
Phone number
Membership (status, type and rate).
From here you can also go directly to their profile by selecting 'Open client profile'.
