How to create a room?
Another important step is Rooms. You must create rooms in order to enable your availability. The rooms you create will link to where your Appointment types and Session types can take place.
To create your rooms, head to Settings > Add room > fill in name and capacity > Add.
[The capacity set is the maximum amount of people that room can have at once, you can set certain capacities within the rooms for certain appointment types/ session types in their settings.]
The order that the rooms are listed is the order that the rooms have been added to the system. The order of the rooms here, will also be the same order that they are displayed on the Calendar when on the 'Room' view. If you would like to change the order select the 'Reorder rooms' button, from here you can then move the rooms around. Select 'Save' to save all changes.
If you select the three dots next to the room you can 'Edit', 'Copy' or 'Delete'.
Once the room has been created you can press 'Edit' to edit that rooms name, capacity, zones and availability.
If the room follows the same opening hours as you have set up in the Opening hours setting, then leave 'Use custom opening hours' toggled OFF. However, if the room has its own specific opening hours you can add availability.
To do this toggle ON 'Use custom opening hours', from here you can select select '+Add slot' for any day of the week to start creating the availability. Once selected you can then enter in the times the room is open. Press 'Save changes' to apply the availability for the room.
If you have added a slot to a day that you no longer want to be available, you can select 'x' on the slot you have set up. This will then remove the availability for this day.
When all edits have been made remember to press 'Save changes' to create this availability for that room.
