How to create revenue centres
Revenue centres will split the revenue from your offerings into the different revenue centres depending on what you have set up.
There are default revenue centres that are set up by Trybe; Beverage, Food & Beverage, Food, Spa Treatments, Spa Retail, Spa Laundry, Course, Vouchers and Other.
You are able to create your own custom revenue centres. To do this head to Settings > Revenue centres > Add revenue centre. When creating your own custom revenue centres you can apply the tax percentage that applies:
Once you have created your revenue centres you can then assign them to your offerings:
To do this go to Settings > Appointment types/ Session types/ Packages/ Area booking types > edit > scroll to revenue centre > select the revenue centre from the drop down menu.
Revenue centres cannot be deleted by the user. If you would like any of these removed, please contact your onboarding agent or support. See more in the section 'Integration behaviour'.
To update the tax configuration for the Trybe default revenue centres be sure to contact your onboarding agent with the correct tax for each revenue centre.
IMPORTANT for PMS integrations: when you create a new revenue centre you will need to contact us with the correlating code this revenue should be posted to in your PMS system.
Integration Behaviour
The majority of the predefined revenue centres can be removed and/or replaced with more specific ones by the Trybe team. However, there are some that cannot be removed, as they are set up to behave in certain ways behind the scenes, like when there is an integration in place. If these were to get deleted, then Trybe wouldn’t be able to post some revenue to integrations.
Revenue centres cannot be deleted by the user. If you would like any of these removed, please discuss this with your onboarding agent or Trybe support.
There are some revenue centres that cannot be deleted: Goodwill, Overpayment and Spa Treatment are all configured in the background to behave in a certain way. They are not rev centres that can just be manually configured to any offering. Therefore, we would not recommend any of those being deleted.
Also, Memberships, Course Redemption and Vouchers are what we call 'system revenue centres'. The membership fee for example is the revenue centre that we associate all membership payments with. It's not currently configurable.
Revenue centres in reports
These revenue centres will then be used to show you where the most revenue comes from.
The reports include...
Revenue by sales channel
Revenue by order label
Revenue allocations summary
Revenue allocations breakdown
To access the reports head to the Reports tab and look for the 'Sales' section.
If you have an integration with a PMS such as Guestline or Opera, these revenue centres will be used to post revenue to your PMS system.
